Fall Recreation League

The Fall program begins the first week of September and is grouped by grades, from Preschool to 6th Grade. Winter Futsal League with Capital Soccer

Dynamos enters several teams from U10 through U14 in the Capital Soccer Club's seven week futsal league beginning in early March. All games are played at the Central Vermont Memorial Civic Center in Montpelier. Futsal is an indoor version of soccer played with 5 players to a side and on a much smaller "field". It is a fast-paced game with many rule modifications which can be viewed here. Registration for futsal typically opens in January but is by invitation only by interested coaches. Costs are typically about $750 per team and may be divided evenly among players though some teams seek out sponsorships.

If you are interested in forming a team under the Dynamos umbrella, you will need to become a coach first (requires a background check and successful completion of SafeSport and Concussion awareness online courses - all of which are no cost to you) and then you may form a team.

Vermont Soccer League (Spring Soccer)

In the Spring, Dynamos enters teams from U8 through U19 in the seven week competitive Vermont Soccer League beginning the first weekend of May. Teams practice two evenings each week with 1-2 games typically scheduled on the weekend. Teams may participate in the Essex United Tournament as well as the Target United Cup - both in Essex where teams usually play a minimum of 3 games. Coaches may select an alternate tournament to participate in including but not limited to Nordic Cup at Essex and the Memorial Day 242 Classic in Jay Peak.

Registration for the Spring VSL teams begin in October and runs through January.

Spring Season Registration Fees:

--U8  (ages 5- 8):  $125

--U10 - U14 (ages 9 -14):  $200

Due to lack of participation we will not be offering U16 and U19 this coming season and will be looking for opportunities to partner our players with other local teams.  Please reach out the Dynamos Board  if you have any questions.

Challenger's International Soccer Camps (Summer)

Each July, Dynamos welcomes a crew of British soccer coaches arranged through our partnership with Challenger Sports. Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country based upon one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the US and Canada. Our experienced International staff study the game at all levels and will help players improve their core techniques and become more confident on the ball. With programs for each age, the curriculums includes a variety of foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, freestyle soccer, small-sided games and coached scrimmages. World Cup style games are held each day where campers compete for their adopted country and are encouraged to learn about different customs and cultures, and our core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Most camps will include a free soccer ball, T-shirt, Poster and Certificate. Registration for the British Soccer Camp typically begins in December or January.

Pickup Soccer (All ages welcome!) in Summer

Between the Spring and Fall soccer seasons, Dynamos offers free pickup soccer for anyone who is interested - all genders and ages are welcome. Place and time vary each year so look for more details to be posted on this site and in social media during the Summer.
