We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game.
As a player, you have a big part to play.
That’s why Dynamos is asking every player to follow the Dynamos Code of Conduct.You can also find the Vermont Soccer Association Zero Tolerance Policy Against Abuse HERE!
When playing soccer, I will: * I will make every effort to attend ALL practices and games and arrive on time;
* I will remember that winning isn’t everything; that having fun, playing fair, improving my skills, making friends, and giving my best efforts are the most important aspects of youth soccer;
* I will show respect and courtesy to coaches, spectators, teammates, and opponents at all times.
* I will avoid overly-aggressive play and never play the game in a way that might cause injury to myself or my opponent;
* I will control my temper, resist the temptation to retaliate, and exercise self control;
* I will concentrate on playing soccer by always giving my best effort, both in practice and in games;
* I will follow coaching direction and will not be disruptive during practice or games, nor will I “mouth off” or use bad language.
* I will show respect for the authority of the referee, even though I may sometimes disagree with his or her calls; I will not speak to the referee unless the referee initiates a discussion with me;
* I will shake hands with my opponents and the referees after the match and will do so in a friendly manner;
* I will be humble and gracious in victory, but proud and courteous in defeat.
I understand that if I do not follow the Code, any of the following actions may be taken:
* Be required to apologize to my teammates, the other team, or referee
* Be dropped or substituted
* Be suspended from training
* Be required to leave the club.
